My Review,

Caught Rambo 4 last week thanks to AMBP.

1. Fire power 9/10

Lot’s of big guns, bombs, sniper riffles and home made machete. My favs have to be the snipper riffle and the machete.

2. Blood 9/10

The is blood and body parts flying all over the place!! Legs, arms and heads exploding in your face.

3. Brutality 9/10

Kids tortured, burned and shot, woman raped and murdered, mens body parts chopped off and blown to pieces by land mines.

4. FX 9/10

Super super good effects. Everything looks freaking realistic.

5. Rambo 5/10

Well, Rambo’s old now. Shirt never comes off. Does not get captured, tortured and then escape. No more solo action, John Rambo actually works with mercenaries this time. Hardly says a word. I heard the word “John Rambo” only twice if memory serves me right.

6. Vehicles 4/10

Besides the pirate bot in the beginning and a few military transport lorries don’t hope to see any cool helicopters or military vehicles.

7. Location 7/10

Nothing new, typical Asian jungle backdrop.

Final words:

A must watch movie for those with a strong stomach and a passion for mindless brutality. Don’t go in expecting to see the old Rambo, open your mind and you shall enjoy.

My favorite part from the movie is when the enemy confronting John Rambo get taken down by a head shot from the sniper. His damn head explodes on screen….BAM!!

    I have high tolerance for violence, and this movie is the bomb. It delivers the mayhem, the gratuitous violence and sex.

    Everyone can see that Stallone is old. Rambo is old. He didn’t take on an entire battalion on his own this time, unlike Rambo 2 and 3. He had help. And when I said help, I mean the huge-ass machine gun at the end.

    Spoiler Alert:
    The funny part is, how come the stupid army people raped every breathing woman in the movie but they didn’t rape the hot American girl? Seems pretty unlikely don’t you think?

    Dear Danny,

    I am also a big fan for Stallone and specially for Rambo and Rocky movies… and regarding this movie … to be honest … I think Sly should not end this great serious by this way … whatever he made for the sixth part of Rocky … is good and I can say great … but for the 4th part of Rambo .. I think is very poor. At the end … what I like in Rambo 4 is the last 5 minutes of the movie … and the whole movie .. I have to say to Sly : We loves you and because of that you shouls respect us.

    I feel what you say. It ain’t Rambo. And what I tell my friends is. Don’t watch the movie thinking it’s Rambo. Just a action movie :)

    On Helluva movie man :) . Been a Rambo fan since small. all though not brutal n kow kow like the earlier rambos,its enuff to pacify my rambo steam. lolx.

    looking forward to final chapter in rambo.heard it wil release next year

    I went into the movie thinking. This is going to be slow cause hes an old man rambo but I got a big FRIGHT in one part of the movie and NOTHING has EVER done that to me. OMG he isnt Rambo anymore, hes RUCKAS RAMBO. I loved it, best scene was when he came out of his safety shell and Booya kills everyone on the boat with style and speed.
