Received my Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Hardy Heron cds in the mail today.
Who doesn’t like to receive internatioanl packages with goodies? The best part is when I tell my non OSS friends that the cds were shipped free of charge.
You will be suprised to know that many people don’t believe that there are people out there providing wonderfull services not for money but out of passion. Welcome to the world of opensource is what I normally my response would be to them.
Go Go OSS!!
Anyways, if you want your own Ubuntu cd, go to Ubuntu’s ShipIt page and place your order. Remember, it’s a free service so don’t expect speedy delivery unless your are willing to pay.

I started wit Redhat for a few years, after that comfortable with SuSE.
Now with Ubuntu… It seem Ubuntu much more easier for a new user.

Testing from Hardy
Just upgraded..
Bro is the any “replacement” for Adobe products in Linux. If wanna edit Flash / Web what software u use in Ubuntu ? In Windows i use adobe macromedia stuffes..
Novinthen,
Under Ubuntu 8.04, there’s a program called “wine”, which allows window program to run on Ubuntu, (*Note that only certain program works, if given the required *.dll file, and some not), the good news is Macromedia Flash works under wine in Ubuntu. (^_^)
If you want to edit website, a good editor called “Bluefish”, you can installed it by “Applications -> Add/Remove -> Programming -> BlueFish”, make sure internet connection is on, and for the flash, there are a numbers, try to google it. Hope this helps.
